YOUR MONEY WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE LIVES OF TEENAGERS FIGHTING CANCER IN THE EAST OF SCOTLAND
Teenage Cancer Trust estimates that, with the nine units they already have around the UK, four out of every 10 teenagers diagnosed with cancer now have access to a TCT Unit. Their aim is to build enough units so that by 2012, every teenager will be treated on one.
In Scotland we currently have one unit at the Beatson in Glasgow.

The East of Scotland Appeal will be launched in May 2009 to secure the funding for these vital facilities.
In the meantime an interim Teenage Cancer Trust unit has been funded through local fundraising and will open in Summer 2009 at the present Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh
Teenagers are treated in Edinburgh but come from many parts of the East of Scotland, from Cupar in Angus to Duns in the Borders
